Our Mission

Genacta is a community-based service organization dedicated to providing health-and-habilitation-related human services to our neighbors. We work to improve independence and quality of life for our neighbors facing various disabling or potentially disabling challenges.

Founded in 2003, Genacta has established itself as the standard in the region's home care and community-based services. We've done this through friendliness, dedication, and genuine regard for the people of our community. Additionally, Genacta aides meet high professional standards:

Affordable Care

Genacta works hard to ensure the home health and other services we provide is affordable for everyone in the Anchorage Area, Mat-Su Valley, and Kenai Peninsula. We accomplish this, in part, through:

• Service plans developed by experienced nurses and customized to meet the needs of each individual.
• Low minimums. Only 4 hours per week.
• Participation in multiple Medicaid programs that pay up to 100% for services.
• Participation with the Veterans Administration and programs that pay for home care.
• Participation with health insurances and long-term care insurance
